We hiked above the clouds and found FitzRoy, that rugged twin-peaked mountain that sticks up above the horizon (to the right).Four months we've been waiting for the situation to change, for the restrictions to ease and travel to resume. FOUR months! That wasn't a typo. It's not supposed to be "for."Four months since they shut down the national park. Four months since they banned any and all travel even though it's only 3 hours away.OPEN UP ARGENTINA!! That way we can visit and gtf outta here!!Oh well... at least we've had a grand time while we wait. Posting more shots from this day in our stories!

Continuing with our highlight reel of Patagonian experiences in the past few months.We accompanied our hosts to an estancia mostly to pick up firewood and see if we could catch anything in the lake. It turned into a lovely day complete with mate, fishing, sliding on a frozen lake, and asado (bbq beef)!Check out our stories for more!
